Ingredients Red Tortoise Cake Recipe :
2 cups glutinous rice flour
1/2 cup sugar
6000 g red bean paste
1/2 cup rice flour
1/8 tsp red colouring
4 pieces banana leaves

Method :

how to make Red Tortoise Cake
1. Mix 1 cup glutinous rice flour with 1/2 cup water to form dough. Divide dough into 4 portions. flattern each portion and cook them in boiling water until they float to the top. Remove, drain and set aside. Divide red bean paster into 4 portions and set aside.

2. Put remaining glutinous flour, rice flour, sugar and colouring in a bowl and mix well. Add cooked dought and knead until blended and smooth. Divide into 4 portions and shape into balls. Make a hollow and stuff in red bean paster and cower up with dough.

3. Grease red tortoise cake mould. Put in stuffed dough, flatten lightly and place banana leaf iver it. invert and remove. Trim excess leaf. Steam for 5 minutes over medium heat. remove the cover back and steam for another 5 minutes. Dish up and serve.
